Swagbucks

The Swagbucks HomePage

Swagbucks is the primarily used search and win site out there, with a large user-base and a very friendly and ergonomic website. The basis of the website is to use their search engine to search for whatever floats your boat, and every so often you will earn anywhere from 1-100 Swagbucks. You cannot search 100 times in a minute and get away with it unfortunately, but you can generally win once every few hours.

My primary browser is Google Chrome, and thus I set my default search engine for when I type in things as Swagbucks, so I can earn Swagbucks, generally without thinking about it. If it is something specific, then I will switch to Google, but only after searching once, and this strategy has helped me earn over 250 Swagbucks on my own.

The Swagbucks Blogs
Now there are many ways to earn Swagbucks such as trading in electronics, signing up for paid offers, referrals, Swagcodes, and even submitting polls. Every so often, in their blog, the Swag Guy/Girl will post codes, which are worth Swagbucks, but you must be quick. These codes generally last between 30 minutes to 4 hours, but sometimes longer. I have gotten maybe 10 out of over a hundred codes in the last 6-8 months. Swagcodes are also found in the monthly newsletter, and for completing a certain offer monthly.

A Swagbucks Newsletter
The other place that Swagcodes can be found is in the Toolbar, which Swagbucks released a few months back. Often they will post Swagcodes on it, and you can use it to search on Swagbucks, as well as other basic features, such as checking for news, the blog, and more. In and of itself, the Toolbar is pretty versatile.

The other real perk of Swagbucks is the referral system. You earn 1:1 Swagbucks for each referral you get, up until your referral gets 100 Swagbucks. Now 100 Swagbucks is a pretty substantial number, you can earn 100 Swagbucks generally over 2 months on your own just searching, humanly, although much more are possible with luck…

…Leading into the important part, rewards. Swagbucks makes it pretty difficult to get anything in the high echelons of their website. Thousands of Swagbucks are really not realistic, unless you are a referral tycoon. But the most redeemed prize, and best in my mind is the $5 Amazon gift card, which costs 45 Swagbucks. Now with the 100 Swagbucks you get from your buddy, you get $10 Amazon, or $5 Amazon and a nice Swagbucks shirt. Now think about it, say you get 10 friends to use Swagbucks. You have 1000 Swagbucks from them now, or $110 worth of Amazon. Not bad, eh?

The Swagstore
But if you’re a determined guy/gal, there is a huge variety in prizes, from Paypal cash, to guitars, to baseball cards, and even autographed merchandise and video games. Literally anything you can think of is redeemable on Swagbucks. Want that Jonas Bros calendar? Got it. A Monet Water Lillies poster? They’ve gotcha. How about some Polo cologne for that date? They’ve got you covered.

Swagbucks is the ideal site for all the people out there who use the Internet, and want to earn while at it, without putting forth the effort to tediously click, or struggle through mod-path offers.
